New Product: Custom NFC Keychains – Tap to Share Your Links
I’ve been adding a really fun and practical new item to the shop: Custom NFC Keychains!
These are modern digital business cards that let you share any link instantly. Just tap the keychain on any NFC-enabled smartphone (iPhone or Android) and boom — it opens whatever website or page you programmed. No typing URLs, no scanning QR codes, no extra apps needed from the recipient.
Perfect for sharing social profiles, your website or Etsy shop, contact info, event links, portfolios, music, videos — literally anything with a URL.
How they’re made
I start with this great ready-to-print model on MakerWorld: https://makerworld.com/en/models/542129-social-nfc-keychain
I print the two halves of the keychain housing in durable, vibrant PLA using my 3D printer. The designs come out crisp with clean logos for the most popular platforms: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube, plus a generic “www” (website) icon option.
Once printed, I stick a programmable NFC tag/sticker inside one half, carefully glue the two pieces together for a solid, seamless fit, and attach a strong metal split ring. The result is a compact, everyday carry item that feels premium and is built to last on keys, a bag, lanyard, or backpack.
The NFC tag inside is fully programmable and reprogrammable — use any free NFC writing app on your phone to set (or change) the link whenever you want. Super versatile.

These have been a blast to put together. They’re a natural extension of the kind of clever, useful 3D printed gadgets I love making — things that solve a real everyday problem in a fun, modern way. In 2026, tapping a physical object to instantly share your world just feels right.
Check out the new product page in the shop for full details, available designs, and to purchase.
If you’re a creator, networker, small business owner, or just someone who loves cool tech gadgets, these make fantastic conversation starters and practical tools. They’re also great as unique gifts or promotional items.
More designs and color options may come later — let me know what you’d like to see!

P.S. Huge thanks to the designer of the original model on MakerWorld for making such a clean, useful print available. 3D printing communities make projects like this possible!
