New Crystal Dragons: Standing and Long Versions
Two new crystal dragon models fresh off the bench — the standing version in white with purple and UV-sensitive accents, and the long version in white with glow-in-the-dark blue and rainbow accents plus a spiky galaxy black tail.
I’m thrilled to introduce two brand new crystal dragon models that have been taking over my print queue: the standing version and the long version.
The standing version is crisp white with purple and UV-sensitive accents that really come alive under blacklight. The standing version photo shows off the elegant form — the long neck, detailed wings, and segmented tail.
The long version is white with glow-in-the-dark blue and glow-in-the-dark rainbow accents, topped off with a dramatic spiked galaxy black tail. One of the photos shows it in-hand so you can get a sense of the scale (these guys are a nice substantial size for a desk or shelf dragon). I’ve been pushing glow filament on this model too. The crystal-dragon-long-glowing shot was taken after a quick charge under a lamp — it keeps a nice soft afterglow that looks fantastic in a dim room.
These were printed in Elegoo PLA Pro for the white and black, SOVOL for the UV-sensitive accents, and FlashForge HS-PLA for the glow-in-the-dark blue.
They’ll be joining the existing Dragon Egg Fidget in the dragon corner of the collection and making their debut at the Little Paws Crafts Community Farmers’ Market on July 5 in EHT, NJ. The long dragon will be $20 and the standing dragon $15 (tax included) — event details.
The three photos here are straight from the first good prints. More variants and possibly some hatchling-sized dragons are in the queue!
